Late To The Brush
I did not plan to be a painter. I started just a few years ago during a challenging stretch of life as a way to maintain positivity and build a visual record of the journey. There is more than one piece in the portfolio that began as a raging vermillion swath or a plaintive cobalt shadow. Emotions are the lifeblood of my work. As an older woman, this painting practice is my reason to rise and shine every morning.
My art is not created to complement a color palette or blend seamlessly into a background. I paint from the heart—bringing memories, imagination, and spontaneous feelings to life through vivid color. These pieces do not simply match your decor; they elevate, transform, and enhance the entire energy of your room.
